My fiancee is coming to visit me in Canada in November, however under the Visa Waiver program he is only permitted to stay a maximum of 90 days. My question is if he is connecting in the USA under the VWP and comes to Canada while in Canada does the 90 days still count while he is here. If he is in Canada for 90 days will that count towards the 90 day maximum stay in the USA? Is Canada and the USA considered the same in terms of the VWP? If so, are there any other Visa's that will grant him longer staying time?
