You have little chance of getting adjusted to LPR status.

Watch videos at: http://www.immigration-professor.com/tag/unlawful-presence-waiver

Read: http://www.justice.gov/eoir/efoia/bia/Decisions/Revdec/pdfDEC/3447.pdf concerning "extremely and unusual hardship" for waivers. Depending on the particular waiver sought, the qualifuing relatives vary. This one is for cancellation of removal.

Read: http://www.justice.gov/eoir/efoia/bia/Decisions/Revdec/pdfDEC/3479.pdf which further refines the evidence to be considered.

I'm not a pro, and I would be pretty scared in your situation since it's been 10 years, but I think it depends on the states too... I was a visa waiver overstay for 2 years and I got my green card last month, no questions asked about why I overstayed even. But 10 years... I don't know. I was also told on here that I probably won't get approved and was shown all the articles... It's better to let you knwo that it won't be easy, but in the end it's your decision, and I hope you keep us all updated. You guys can always live in your country if you don't get approved, I would imagine it's nicer not to live in fear all the time and to be able to work...
