I have a current H1b-Visa from Company-A. After arriving in USA, I have started to work for Company-B from the first day. In the meantime, Company-B has applied for New H1b(not a transfer case) and now I have received new approved H1B. Can I go to nearest US-Consulate in Canada to get my new Visa stamped. I don\'t have any pay Stuffs from Company-A, since from day one I started work with
Company-B. I did not have pay stuffs from company-B also. Company-B pays me salary check and deducts tax as appropriate.

Could any one of similar experienced person can share his views, regarding any problem in obtaining visa stamped from US-Consular at Vancouver.

If you received an H1 for Company A but worked for Company B *before* being approved for a new H1, then you violated your status and you may face problems at the US Consulate or with INS processing in the future. You should consult an immigration attorney to discuss your case and seek legal advice before taking any further steps.

I am expecting my H1B visa soon. But I have to leave country right after that.. to go to Spain. I was wondering if I could get my Multiple Entry visa in US Embassy in Spain or not.

and also, If I go to Canada, how long does it take to stamp the passport and give it back.

Hi Niti,
US consulate has got the right to deny the VISA of third country national. I am Indian born Australian citizen and based in AUSTRALIA. My US attorney has suggested me to get H1B/H4 endorsed in Australia rather than in India on the same logic. Regards.

Actually, I wrote to the Embassy in Madrid and they said that I could do it there. they also gave me a list of requirements and stuff. But I talked to people around and they said that I would rather go to Canada (because they have been doing this for a long time) instead of Spain.

how long does the H1 stamping
take. The website says 7 working days ! Also has anyone tried the
fax-back interview appt system ? Pl post your responses
even if it is from a different country.
