Visa Stamping after H1 extension

I am currently on H1B visa which expires on 04/20/2005.I am applying for 8th year extension by premium processing before
October 30th and I am plannig to go back to India by 24th. Nov. I am hopin I would get the extension by that time. Here are my questions:

1. Would I need to revalidate the Visa again since I my H1 is extended now?
2. I would be applying for H4 visa for my wife? Can I use the new extension or use the one that I used to get my visa.
3. In case if my Extension doesn't arrive in time and I need to leave, is it ok?

Weren't you supposed to go to India and come back on oct'12th after getting the VISA stamped from Delhi Consulate..?

I did and I got my Visa and I am back. I didn't get the time to post my experience but it went smooth. Officer didn't ask much questions.

Congratulations and that's great news.
I know you must have other stuff going on, but for the benefit of alot of ppl like myself who are planning on going to the Delhi Consulate in Nov-Dec, could you please elaborate on what all you did at the embassy and the questions that were asked...list of documents you took.
