Visa Stamp in new passport

Hi all-
I renewed my US Passport (as it expired). The old US passport has an Indian visa that is still valid.

My question is:

Do I need to get the visa transferred to the new passport? Or can i travel with both passports to India with out any problem?

The way it works is that even though your old US passport is no longer valid the Indian Visa is.

So this is what you have to do when you travel to India.
Take BOTH the old US Passport (which has the Indian visa) and your new US passprort and you will be fine.

There is no need to get visa transferred. When you India visa finally expires get a new visa on you new US passport.
