visa stamp in Mexico/Canada

F-1 to H-1 VICTIM # 1

Hi all,
This is my first time on immigration.com. I came here looking for some answers....but I guess, I\'m the only one who has suffered the blow to go to Canada to change my visa from F-1 to H-1....! It\'s been over a month now....& and I\'ve not been allowed to re-enter the US. I have been forced to stay in Canada during this time. The decission on my visa will be made sometime during this month.... hopefully..... However, if I don\'t get it....then US is history for me...I guess...!!!
Please Let me know if anyone.....has had any luck....
 
Changing consulate

If someone get reject to visa stamping in Canada, then I guess the next option would be to go back to their home country and try again. So on that case would do we ask to notify the US consulate in our home country? If we fill out the form I 824 to change the consulate then how long it will take for this process?

I hope someone might know the answer.

Which consulate did u go to??
Also, did they state any reason for the delay??....did u get the visa finally?
