Visa Stamp and Pay Stubs

Hi,

My wife got her H1 approved in 2007 quota. She got her SSN on 26th Oct and then she started job from 1st Nov.

Now we are going for Visa stamp in month of Jan. By that time, she will have two paystubs Nov and Dec.

My question is, will it create issue, not having paystub for Oct? If asked, can we tell consulate officer that we received SSN on 26th and thats why we didnt get paid? is it a valid answer?

Yes it is. But get a letter from your company HR on this fact.
