Visa Revalidation at Vancuover

I want to revalidate my H1 visa at Vancouver US Embassy. Mainly I have two questions. Your help is needed.


Can I revalidate my H1 visa at Vancuover? (I am not a Canadian citizen).

I have a valid visa right now till Mid May. I want to go for visa revalidation by end of April. If my visa rejected due to any reasons can I re enter in to the USA again (Assuming that I have a valid existing Visa at the time of rejection)

I am also in the similar situation. I have appointment with U.S. Consulate in vancouver, Canada on May 3rd for H1 and H4 stamping. My currenct visa is valid till June-04. If for any reason my visa gets rejected, can I come back to U.S. on my old visa and send my H1 stamping to Washington ?

If visa stamping is rejected for any reason then you can't enter even if you have previous visa stamped in passport which expires on future date.

In that case they will stamp your passport with 221(g) and you can't enter in USA until you get your new visa stamped from your home country or whereever they ask you to go.

Hi

As a policy now they put a cancelled without prejudice stamp on all your old Visas everytime you file for a new Visa.

I don't think you will be able to use your old visa once your are rejected (again I am not sure about Canada as such) but in India or through state dept they do put this stamp invalidating your old visa.
