Visa re-stamping on Passport

The H1 visa stamped on my passport from my ex-employer A expires in October'03. I have a valid visa approval (I-797) from my present employer B till August'04. However this current employer B has been brought over by employer C. So currently employer B doesn't exist anymore but is a part of employer C. Though I still have visa approval by employer B. I have travel plans outside US later this year and would need to get the visa stamped on my passport (as it expires on Oct'03).
So wanted to know do I need to do something special to get the visa stamped on my passport (as the valid visa approval I have for the company B doesn't exist anymore),
would a letter saying that employer B is part of employer C + the visa approval for employer B be enough or
would I need to get a new visa approval with company name C on it.
I would really appreciate any pointers.
Thanks

A h1 amendment might be necessary based on what kind of merger or acquisition it was...
But generally a acquisition (including successor of all employee rights including immigration rights) does not require an amendment, a letter is enough. Company C lawyer should give a clear cut direction on this...
