Visa or Green card via Invention

What are the options for one to gain Green Card status or Citizenship through an invention that has potential to create 100's of jobs and contribute to the economy. I have a friend that recently graduated with an engineering degree and just got his OPT and we helped him file for a patent. How can we use this to make him a PERM resident enroute to citizenship. We cannot afford to loose him. Awaiting your advise.
