Visa number unavailability to one who already got an RFE

Hi all,

I have been reading this forum from last 1 yr and now got a chance to finally ask a question from you experts. I got an RFE last week from VSC. The RFE was about medical examination. INS asked me to do the chest xray again for me and my spouse. I got the reports today and i am going to send it to my attorney today iteself.

My question is....would the person who got an RFE already be affected by the visa number unavailability ?

I have one more question. If attorney send the RFE response tomorrow to INS and if INS gets the response by June 23rd. Is there any chance of my case getting approve before June 30th ?

Yes, there's a chance. I'd call it extremely unlikely, but not impossible.
 
Hound the attorney ...

I received my RFE on 12/8/04, EB3 dates retrogression was announced on 12/9 in the Jan bulletin. I hounded my attorney and made sure they sent the response as quickly as possible. NSC recd the response on 12/15, my case was approved on 12/20. If I hadn't slogged then, I'd be still waiting.

Yes, you should have hope, and make sure your attorney is on top of your case (I must've called mine 7-8 times in those few days). Ask him to double check the address on the packet - make sure everything is signed - get the tracking number on the package ...

HI! Can anyone tell me the chances of I485 approval after I 140 is approved? Does I485's get denied after getting I 140 approvals? What kind of RFE's are asked for I 485?. undefined

Tell me one more thing. Can attorney send the docs using FedEx or they have to send via USPS ?
