Visa Interview

I am in Oceana and Have CN of 11XX. I feel confident an interview is coming.
should this interview be granted, does this pretty much guarantee a green card?

Second is there anything I should, not do, or do, during this interview.

Nothing is for sure until the person conducting the interview is stating "Congratulation and welcome as a perminent resident"....it all comes down to the proof you have.

Be relaxed and answer everything as honestly....it is always harder to remember a lie than the truth:)

If you have nothing to hide than it is a walk in the park:)

hi Stary, i'm from Oceania too, CN 10XX, hoping for an interview in May :)
are you having your interview in Sydney, or elsewhere?
You will need to show all the required documents and you may be questioned over certain things during the interview which will determine whether or not the visa will be granted to you.
A few people from Oceania have made posts about their interview experiences which may interest you. Just search for Oceania or sydney you should be able to find the posts.
From what has been said though, if all your documents are in order and there is nothing unusual with your circumstances, you should be fine. Good Luck!

Thank, ancatdubh, actually I read one of you post before. Something about 1 more and I am in. I had a good laugh.
Acctualy I live in Niagara Falls, Canada. Right across the border from my dream country. The States is the best and
everybody knows it. Ask any Talibain fighter if they would trade in their horseship for a green card and were willing
to live in peace. They would jump at it. Off course I have always been pro American. It's a place where you can
make it or break it on your own. I am a red blooded cowboy at heart and I like that style.
One way or another. I am getting and going to California!
Best of luck to you, let me know how you make out in May numbers, I will do the same.
See ya.

yes if you do DV and its granted, then you get the stamp in your passport! When doing it in your home country its a different process as AOS btw

What to do is prepare your case exactly as they ask you in the documents and be happy, as long as you have everything prepared all is fine and even fun! Yes there's some waiting so be prepared for longer waiting that way the waiting is shorter then anticipated, you know, think positive.

Basically I found the "interview" more a paperwork thing and taking fingerprints (but taken mine many times the past years, any one know if they do a match lol) then being interrogated as some people tend to think it is. Sure if they need they question, if things look suspicious, they go in and so, if you're clean and prepared, your FINE!
