Is there something she can do about this?

After 4 refusals does not look encouraging

Probably you can try to enroll in some courses in UK and/or Canada and transfer to US later (or do one semester in US, but you will still need a US visa).

info needed

My friend\'s husband got his F-1 visa last week. His introductry session is on 20th sep. My freind and her school going son haven\'t applied for thier F-2 yet but do have a vaild b-1 visa. planning to travel on that & later change the status once they are there.
Wanted to know information on these questions
1. Can change of visa status be done there easily or does it take a very long time?
2. can their Son join school in a visit status?
