Hi - I'd be grateful if anyone could help me out with the following predicament:
I've been offered a post at a U.S. college to coach their rugby team. The position is salaried, although I may apply to the university in my second season to do a graduate course, and therefore work in exchange for a tuition waiver.
Is there a visa that I am eligible for to cover the first year where I won't be studying? I have some experience in coaching in the UK - lots of playing experience - and have the RFU Level 1 Coaching Qualification. If so, is it obtainable by mid-September?
I should add that at the time of applying, I will be in the U.S. on an L-1 visa for another employer, which expires May 2006.
I've been asked to confirm whether or not I'll be taking the post fairly soon, so any help would be much appreciated.
Many Thanks
Andy
