I really need help.
I am doing my MBA at Philadelphia, and I am taking summer classes too..in addition I got summer Marketing internship with a big company, but..MY PROBLEM IS:
my I-20 is 2005 year end, or untill I complete my MBA.
MY f1-student visa expire date is 2 sept.2004, after 2 months..and I don't want to lose my chance with the company, because they offer part time job after summer..
do I have to go to my country?to get it extended.
can I go to Cana'da instead of going my country?
please HELP!.... :( :(
I greatly appreciate your help..

check out PT

Since you are half way through your degree. I believe you can apply for practical training where you will be give a EAD card. Please check out the details of that.
good luck

the period for which your visa is valid has nothing to do with the validity of your status. You can remain in the U.S. as long as you want without ever leaving it to renew your visa, as long as you are maintaining your F-1 status (that is until the expiration date of your I-20). When I-20 expired, but you didn't finish your degree yet, get it extended at the international center.

To recap, if your visa expired - you do not have to leave the country to renew it - you can remain in the U.S. until the expiration of your status. If you wish to travel overseas and your visa is expired - you will have to get a new visa to be able to come back.

Now, on a separate subject: in order to be able to work for the marketing company off campus in the summer and during the semester, you will need a work permit. In your case, i'd go with a curricular practical training work permit. Your international center will be able to help you get one. If they don't know much about it - come back here and ask. here is the link to my university's info on CPT: http://international.missouri.edu/isss/students/cpt/
