VISA -Extension

Hello every one,

I am on H1-B .I got my vis extension till mid 2005.i have my h1-b valid till 2006.

My passport got expired and have new passport.new passport don't have visa.

my question is , can i send my new passport for extension.If yes do i need to send both passports or a notriazed copy is enough.

My other question is , It appears to be soon , we need fingerprinting for visa, if so any one have idea how do the state department handle that.

how difficult(compare to all the stuff you here from people on chennai consulate) or creates problem to get visa stamped in toronto or any candian city.Have all the documents, don't have any issues with paper work or payroll.

----- do you have Visa stamp in passport till mid 2005 or got the H1 extension till 2005??? what do you mean by "i have my h1-b valid till 2006"?.

-----keep both the passports stapled in future( at home keep the copies of both the passports in file)

-----send both passports stapled and write a note that previous Visa stamp is in expired passport

----- no news from DOS, and latest is that DOS is going to stop Visa revalidation any time in August or Sep.

----- I dont know, some one who got Visa stamped from Toronto or Ottawa will post you

*** VISA is Visa stamp in passport, H1 extension is NOT Visa it is H1 extension approval notice
