Dear folks
I am a green card winner from EU

When does one' s tax filling obligation start with U.S.?
Is ıt the date I have my immigrant visa issued on my passport by consulate or the day I get my green card in U.S.A after my first entry .?:confused:

I think getting visa and paying tax is totally different things
am I correct .!

Can anyone clarify this for me .
