I am filing for PERM in Virginia
I have got the prevaling wage determination

My employer has Virginia Employment Commission(VEC) account and has placed the Job Order.

Do we have to wait till we receive Job Order Number before we place Newspaper advertisements?

If yes, in how many days do we receive Job Order Number?

If no, how can we verify that the Job Order is successfully submitted?

No, you don't have to wait until the job order number is retrieved before placing the ads. To confirm, you can either ask for proof from VA and they may fax you a copy, or, just go to the VA job bank and do a search using the job title for which your position was advertised!
