I have got an appointment at Chennai consulate on Apr 06 for F1-H1B. But while recently going through the website of the chennai consulate I found out that Apr 06 is a holiday for the consulate because of an Indian festival. 
I tried to contact the VFS many times but was never able to get them. Has anyone of you had this kind of experience? Any suggestions?
