This might be far fetched but I am curious. Here are my details:
1. Graduated with Bsc in Computer Science from a top CS school in the US
2. While an undergrad, conducted research funded by DARPA and JPL
3. Moved to industry for a couple of years to save some money
4. Recently joined a company that works closely with DARPA, DoD and the Army to conduct research and produce technology. This is done through contracts.
5. I was hired due to my earlier research in this field, and professional experience in the industry
6. I am restricted from working on some aspects of certain projects as I am not a "US Person" (legal resident)
7. The company and arguably the US government will benefit if I can work on the restricted areas as I have the experience and skillset
Do I have a case for NIW? If it matters, my chargeability is ROW
