Hi,

So far i attended 5 times interview with US Consulate at Chennai for H1B visa from last 3 months. Every time a new visa officer had taken interview with me and having 5 quires every time. first time he asked about client information and then tax returns(2nd time), Notary stamp(3 rd time), Agreement between client and petioner(4th time) and finally market analysis of the project along with technical description detailed. The client was one of top 5 companies in US.Everytime I provided all the required documents even last 3 years tax returns. It seems to be that US Chennai consulate is having with fun with me. This time he asked me to provide complete technical description, implementation stage and market analysis of the project as this query process is going on…..and there is no gurantee that next they won't put any auery again
Could some one had similar experience and any suggestions on this to come out of this stuff?

Regards,
Suraj :(

suraj,

My brother had a similar situation like you with chennai consulate, of course he is a first time H1 visa applicant. He had to visit consulate 3 times before he got his visa last week.

1st: Agreement between employer and client, details of all employees of employer, their clients, their contact numbers, their supervisors contacts.
2nd: Letter from client
3rd: Detailed project description, technical description, employees assigned, current status, marketing analysis of final product.

Good luck.

Hi Suraj,

What is notary stamp you specified in item 3?
My wife is also attending for interview for first time H1B stamping. She is already working in USA. will this notary stamp apply to her case also?

Anybody, please help...

Thanks
Kiran

Hi Kiran,

This notary stamp is nothing but like a 100 rupees bond(in india) where as the petioner will sign on it saying that what ever income tax returns that he was provided is genuine as well as his organization

This you have to submit only when visa officer specified otherwise no need

Regards,
Suraj
