Vermount Center Backlog

If you look at other service centers california/nebraska/texas official processing times for I-140 is Feb/March 2003.That means major backlog is only in Vermount service center! I wonder what could be the possible cause for this??
Only reason I could think of is that Santa came to Vermount on December 5th instead of 25th :)

Vermont approved lot of I-140 which was filed concurrently with I-485 after September 2002. So officially they will move the I-140 dates soon.

Edison,
Is that mean only vermount dates are not updated and other service centers usually updated ? According to the postings of approvals in this forum I have seen peoples I-140 got approved as late as Nov 2003 and pending ones as old as June 2002 (or earlier). May be vermount has less staff to do the job :o

After I have scanned all the I-140 applications in my ND, I trend to think that posted "processing date" is virtually meaningless. ~40% of all I-140 in my day has been approved already, and approvals / RFEs continue to drip slowly, 1-2 on average day, (4 approvals a day is the best result I have seen so far).

Karaya,

How many no. of cases do you scan in your series? If "4 approvals a day" is within 100 cases, its still good for this year ending season. What is your series...Thanks for posting the statistics

Spell check

Magician, its VERMONT.....not VERMOUNT. I think our applications are getting delayed because of typo like this. We need to use American..not British English.

EAC03091 (January 30, 2003). I don't have the data on hand right now, so numbers are approximate: ~260 I-140s, among those ~100 approved and ~40 in "RFE Send / Received" state. 1 is transferred to local office and 2 have undeliverable mailing address.
And it is not "4 approvals a day", such thing happened only once. Average speed is more like 1 approval a business day. So picture is not that rosy.

VERMONT/VERMOUNT

Indian_In_USA,

Thanks for correction but I still think it does not matter if it is "VERMOUNT" or "VERMONT" as long as people understand the subject. Also this is just a I-140 forum & not the "I-140 Application"....If you are so proud of your "American English" change your ID too :) Can you do that? Can you change your identity?? Be proud to be Indian and speak proudly what you learned from India.

Let the World Know

Indian_in_USA,

Good...you are halfway there ....Now just add "onkey" to "D" and go in public....People will definitely understand your Origin

Hmm.. Addition doesn't make sense

Magician, I know for a fact that i cannot add two char type data. Albeit, if i concatenate 'onkey' with 'D' i'd be left with 'onkeyD'. I can imagine, life must be a big struggle for you.

Would you please ...

Would you please stop your crap......Instead of abusing or trying to correct others, Please stick to this web site what it is meant for. Thank you so much...

Indian_in_USA,

You can not even concatenate 2 strings together Adding "onkey" to "D" is a Donkey (which represents your character).....
I pity on you, sorry pal, you can't find a decent job even after getting GC. Too Bad

NeelBuddy,
This "Crap" is started by a crap named "Indian_in_USA"....You have to shut is mouth first.
