They may be in different subcategories, or simply the random processing result.

Sanga,

You are seeing the wrong dates for EB-2.

Infact after a long time processing time for EB-2 moved from 9/18/02 to 10/10/02.

May be I am, May be NOT.

EB1 - 6/7/2002
EB2 - 5/28/2002
EB3 - 10/10/2002

May be VSC is not reporting it clearly. We had National Interest Waivers: 5/28/2002, last month.

Now they have reported that as: E21 (National Interest Waivers: Advanced degree or exceptional ability ): 5/28/2002

I am sure Advanced degree falls under EB2.( w/ Masters)

Anyway, report is not as clear as before. I will be happy, if VSC is really progressing on EB2.

Good Luck !

I-140 EB21 dates pushed back

You are right, VSC has actually pushed back the date to 5/28/2002. The Sons of BITCHES !

Sometime, regression in processing time is not that bad. That measns they are clearing backlogs and found the earliest unprocessed cases are in may/02. I would expect the processing time will leap after they cleared up backlogs.

Advanced degree or exceptional ability (including national interest cases). - 5/28/2002

This looks like EB2. Unlucky EB2s hang in there for 'some' more time.

EB2/ND 10/01/02

vxmehra98,

Skilled worker or professional: EB3
Unskilled worker is actually a H2B (Similar to H1B), I don't know which catogory they fall into I-140.

To get preference

you should be least qualified and should not submit the application properly so that BCIS generates an RFE and approve those cases....
I remember a program which used to be shown on Doordarshan long time back "AISA BHI HOTA HAI"

Looks like Sanga is correct. Current processing time of Eb-2 is
5/28/2002 .

Interestingly, in the latest JIT report, there are 6 category for I-140, there were only 5 in old format.
