Vermont Processing dates have been updated on all the web sites like www.immigration.com and www.shusterman.com. For I-140, the web site says the current processing date is 12/18/2001. I just checked mine(ND: 12/05/2001), looks like AVM has not yet been updated.

What do you guys think?

Nov. case are still pending...

My ND is Nov-15 still waiting for AD. Also, I think there are many people with ND in Nov are still waiting for AD. Lets hope we see the approvals soon.

WAC 02-033- 5XXXX

Filed 140 with labor substitute in california on on Oct 26th with a receipt date of Nov 1st 2001

Transfered to Vermont on Nov 15th ( god knows why it was transfered - my company is in california, the substitute labor was approved in california...)

No mssg with vermont automated machine for a long time and now Vermont automated message says a receipt date of Dec 13th 2001. It will take 150 to 240 days for this kind of a case (is it true?)

Still waiting for approval.

Anyone who has heard about the 150 to 240 days message for ur case?

Any idea which date would be considered for processing. any guesses?

about VSC msg

The 140 to 250 day msg is common for every body,so dot worry about it.
I filed through VSC and got the same msg.
But the processing times are between 45 days and above in most cases with out RFE.

MegRyan,

I spoke with an IIO at VSC on 01/11/2002. I was informed that they were processing apps from 11/12/2002. I was told to expect an answer somtime in mid february.

If VSC keeps processing the I-140\'s as they are now, you should expect to see an answer in Mid February 2002.

Good Luck

info

Hi Vault,
It is quite confusing how these guys work ( INS) ,they told you that they are working in 12/11 cases, but you can see that there are about 5/6 approvals dated 15th Nov to 27th Nov.

I really dont understand how these guys work.

Hi Ghost,

If I am not mistaken, I guess the date given by VSC is the date that the case got assigned to an officer for adjudication. However, it depends on how fas the officer processes the case.
