Vancouver or Ottawa ??

I have US Masters, currently on H1 which expires on Oct-31. Current H1 stamped last year from Toronto without any problem.
I have confirmed appointment at Vancouver on Oct-26 and Ottawa on Nov-06. I live on East Coast and travellling to Vancouver is expensive, time consuming but also want to get the visa stamped before current H1 expiration.

What do u guys suggest? Fly to Vancouver or drive to Ottawa? Any one with the same appointments?

Personally I would go to Vancouver as you can still come back with old stamp. Technically if you go to Otawa you are going on expired stamp. I have been to Vancouver and you can go to Seattle and drive for <3 hrs. Good Luck- A
