Vancouver H-1 stamping

Hello
I recently changed jobs,and have a new 797 now,this is my fourth,and have a prior H-1 B stamping from my first job,which i did in India,valid till may 2003.
Since it is expired more than a year back i can't do it at St Louis, and so am planning to see if it makes sense to do it in vancouver.

Has anyone had any experience with Vancouver, and whether one can get it back on the same day or whether it might take 3 days?I've heard that Vancouver is pretty easy, but helps to get some other views.
My company has a office there, and so i might be able to combine both things, and so if the probability of taking more than a day is high i might see if i can combine this with work.

Any responses would be much appreciated.
Regards,and thanks!

there is a 2% chance that you might be help up there for FBI background check OR mantis OR condor. Keep that in mind.

can you pls help in understanding what mantis or condor is?i assume the FBI background check is for the TAL.I do IT consulting, and business development so hopefully that shouldn't apply.
Thanks

Don't be lazy. Goto FBI website and you will get all the information you want on mantis and condor and name check.

Remember, the guidelines for mantis or condor are very fluid. It would be impossible for a layperson like me and you to determine if it applies or not. Read 221g group on yahoo. You will be surprised on people waiting for 9 months and apprently nothing to do with TAl areas or SR countries.

Do you research before taking the risk. Don't be stupid and lazy like I was.
