Vancouver Canada Revalidation Question

My H1B visa is still valid until 01/2005 from my old employer.

Now I got my new H1B from the new employer valid until 01/2006.

Is it okay to make an appointment in Vancouver, Canada US Consulate for visa revalidation/stamping even if my old visa stamp is still valid for 9months?

I'm planning to take a vacation in December but I couldn't renew in Missouri because of 60days rule. I have to get a visa because I need to get an airline ticket by May/June timeframe.

Thanks!

yes you can. I have done it in US consultate in India ..when my comp A's visa had not exipred...and still got Comp B visa stamped.

thanks for the reply.

Actually, I have revalidated my visa in my home country quite a few times already.

I am not sure if this is also true if I will do the revalidation in Canada. This is my first time I'm planning to do the stamping in Canada, and will go out of the US for the stamping.

I'm kinda worried if I can do the revalidation even if my old stamp with the old employer if it's still 9 months valid.
