Validity of OPT EAD

Hi,

I just completed my MS. I had applied for OPT EAD in Feb 2003.
I have not received yet my EAD. Meanwhile, I had to travel to
India for emergency medical reasons. I was in middle of discussing OPT employment with an employer when I left US.
So I did not get offer letter from the Employer.

I contacted the Employer after coming to India, he is still interested to hire on my OPT.

Can I still come back on My F1? Will my OPT EAD be still valid?

Any help in this reagrds will certailnly help.

Since you have not received and used EAD, you are still on F1 officially. Your EAD will be valid when you receive it. As far as coming back to USA, all that you need is a valid VISA which has not expired.
