Validity of Medical Exam

I received a I-485 RFE for myself and my spouse. I applied for concurrent processing on April 28,2003. I -140 approved. EB-3 Category. EAD and AP issued and renewed in july 2004. I didn't submit the medical exam results with the I-485 application in april 2003 on the advise of my attorney. I have a medical exam report dated 03-23-2004. How long is the medical report valid once we take the exam? Guru's please help.

Since there is an RFE on the medical, it is better to just go ahead and take it again although you had completed it in March 2004. It is expensive and insurance usually doens't cover it, but it saves a whole lot of headache.

Once you take the medical exams, it is valid for a year. And once you submit it in that one year span, it is valid till your 485 is adjudicated.

I assume you have taken medicals not an exam .so if you have your medicals done on 03/23/2004 then they are valid till 03/23/2005.

JK is right once they are submitted they are valid untill your I485 is adjucated.

They usaually cost between 150 to 250 per person..
