Valid H1B, but travelling from UK (London)

Hi,

I have a valid H1B till March 2006 but I came back to India last year and am currently working in UK(london) with a valid work permit.

My H1B visa is expiring next year, so can I travel back to US from UK (London) or do I need to go back to India and then travel from there.

Kindly clarify

Do you still have the h1b job and the valid H1 approval notice for that job? If you do, you can travel to US. If not, you cannot.

do you still have valid h1 stamping in the passport. if yes then u can travel else you have to get stamped in UK or India before traveling.

If he/she left H1B job, technically H1B is invalid even though it's not
reaching expiration date yet.
