Valid F1 visa issue

Hi all,
I have a F1 visa valid until 2014. It was issued when I was going to Texas as an undergraduate exchange student for one semester (Fall 2009). Now I am applying for graduate studies. If I get an I-20 can I travel on this visa or do I have to apply for new F1 visa?

That appears to be an issue that is dealt with by the Desiganted School Official. You need to inquire with the folks at the school(s) that deal with your I-20 and SEVIS issues. You don't file with USCIS or ICE for this situation.
