VA waivers

I was wondering if the DOS ever rejects a recommendation for a waiver from an IGA,and, if so on what basis.
I would also really appreciate anyone's experience with VA waivers.
The VA central office approved my request to petition the DOS for a waiver last week-after almost a year after I first interviwed with the local facility,since their new rules state they must continue advertising up to 6 months before the proposed start date. I am hoping if things go as planned(deo volunte) I will be able to start by The 1st of July.

Hi CONGRATULATIONS ONCE IGA requested waiver for j1 it is almost 100 percent you are done never heard of case rejected afterwards only proplem is the IGA however you have to make sure you are not out of status at any point during the long procedure.
