Using of National Passport

Thanks for the info.

I want to bring up one issue here.

If you have your RTD and check your it very carefully on the front page. It tells your country/citizenship. It doesnt say "stateless".

So if we are really stateless, I am thinking why INS still puts your country of citizenship on your RTD eventhough they know that you are an asylee/stateless.

Leggaly all of us remain citizens of our countries untill we get US citizenship (sounds so sweet). US Government don't have an authority to revoke your citizenship, ur country does. Every person should have citizenship of some country. The only way for US Gov to cancel ur citizenship (pof your home country) is to give u a US one which is a sweet dream and will never happen that way.

Like you said "INS still puts your country of citizenship on your RTD", because BCIS IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO REVOKE YOU HOME COUNTRY CITIZENSHIP! The only who can do so Immigration Authorities of your home country or YOU, if you'll DO required steps procedure. That's why you are still a citizen of your country :)

Thank you all.

I think I will be on the safest side. Not return home (if I want to visit) until I get my citizenship.

Well, I think everybody should follow that rule. I wouldn't want to go there even after getting citizenship. Not after what happened to me.
