Using EAD

Hello friends.
I have an EAD. What are the steps my prospective employer or I need to take before the EAD can be used?

Can you please tell me where can we get I9?

My wife got a job in a non profit organization. That company never seen a EAD before and since she is still waiting for the SSN, they won\'t sure about the procedure.
 
Employer will give I-9 to fill out

In the I-9 one has to fill in SSN. No one can legally work without SSN.
If you are just curious how I-9 looks like, there are many places on the web you can download one.

I will try the INS Web site to download the I-9 but can you please tell me which Web sites where I can get I-9? My wife told me that her employer was not familiar with I-9 and they won\'t employ her until she gets SSN (even though she told them that she can start working using EAD)

That\'s true they cannot legally employ her until she has SSN. So, let her take her EAD, go to local SSA office and get SSN. It\'s not a big hassle. They will either give her the number itself immediatly or the next day (so the she could use it to be employed), and she\'ll get the SSN card in a matter of weeks (but again, she just needs a number to get employed, not the card).
 
AP and EAD question

Hi Guys,
My AP and EAD have been approved. and i got my 485 reciept. i am planning to go to india and get married in feb \'02 and will return on Mar \'09. my h1 will expire on APR 12th. can i get my wife on H4 visa.
since my AP and EAD have been approved does that mean that i have to enter with Advance parole visa ? please answer my question guys. thanks
