Using EAD for sometime again coming back to H1B status

I am using H1B visa but I have valid EAD. I am with my sponsering employer and my 485 is pending.
For 2 to 3 months I wanted to use EAD and will come back to H1B visa with my sponsering employer.
My question : Is it valid to change statuses or is there any problems with my GC or any other risks?

If you use your EAD, your H status will be void, if you want to return back to H you have to go outside the US and re-enter back with your valid H stamp. If your stamp already expired, then you have to get a new H stamp from oversears consulate and re enter back.
You can not resume your H after using EAD from inside US.

I'm not sure what you stated is correct. I thought if a primary loses the H1 status (non-immigrant) and switchs to EAD....then one can not go back to H1B from EAD(immigrant status). However, it may not be same with H4.
Correct me if am wrong gurus.

This role is not applicanle for H, you can even apply for brand new H while your AOS is pending. Your thinking is applicable to J, F and few others.
