Using AP for vacation?

I know someone probably asked before, but I can't find the answer. Can we use AP to go on a vacation even though we initially mentioned going home to visit parents on the application. Will customs quiz me on where I go?

Yes

Yes you can use for travel. Customs is bothered only about the things you bring into US.

Thanks Jaxen, Ok i mean immigration officer, not customs. Won't the immigration officer ask why I travel abroad? The parole application states that an explanation or other evidence demonstrating the circumstances that warrant issuance of Advance Parole is needed.
