Using 245(i) after 485 has been filed -Help!!

One of my relative's husband worked for 2 hours (with company Y) while on H1 for company X.Company Y paid him a $100 stipend check.

No taxes were deducted from this check, and I guess no W2 was issued. However he is worried and wondering if there will be problem when his 485 comes up for processing. He filed his 485 about 4 months ago.

Please tell if this will be a problem, and is there a way to fix it.Please reply ASAP, Thanks.
 
For whatever year he earned the $100, he can file 1040-X reporting the income and pay taxes. If he is asked for an explanation, he can state that no W-2 was issued.

He must file 1040-X quickly and keep all copies of his filing. This may not become a problem but you'd never know.

If he is given personal check without any deduction then no problem. no need to tell anyone about this work.

It is just opinion.
