The latest from USCIS director, clearly shows that the administration is not even recognising the problem..and openly challenging the COURTS!

Simply,we make certain that the right applicant receives the right benefit in the right amount of
time and we prevent the wrong applicant from receiving our benefits.
Annually,we conduct 35 million background checks,on the front and back ends of processing
every application. In the amount of time that it takes you or me to make a pot of coffee,we run a
check and our adjudicators make a decision that impacts a life, often a family, and always a
country.
Our national security check process is stronger today than ever before. The system is designed
to prevent a decision from being made until USCIS is in receipt of a response from the Federal
Bureau of Investigation.
This policy has resulted in court challenges against us,but we make no apologies and will not cut
a single corner in protecting our homeland.

Guys, can you see what they believe?
The right applicant gets the right benefit in the right amount of time!!! SHAMELESS, I believe.

The real performance: No time to spend with you man, inform you or whatever!!

That's the american way of saying "screw them all". Just like when W says "justice" will be provided to Saddam he means "torchure and killing".

:)

Meaning: Whatever amount time taken by USCIS is the right amount of time to me - the USCIS director.

......In the amount of time that it takes you or me to make a pot of coffee, we run a check and our adjudicators make a decision that impacts a life, often a family, and always a country.
Meaning: We can run security check + make a decision in the amount time of making a pot of "pee". Although FBI has been responding fast, we have successfully accumulated even bigger backlogs since my appointment as the USCIS director. I am proud of that!

This policy has resulted in court challenges against us, but we make no apologies and will not cut a single corner in protecting our homeland.
Meaning: We will not cut a single corner of 485 backlogs in protecting our employees job security. I'll have more opportunities to develop initiatives to help me advance in my political career.

Thanks you boss. Your humble employees appreciate your arrogance and ignorance. Our failure is your success and your success is the guarantee of protection of USCIS' rottenness.

Every body is getting delayed. Where does this 'right people get it in right time' come from ? This Eduardo seems to be the real cause behind the delays. He looks too arrogant and so does his organization (Like King, like people). Unfortunately Employment Based GC applicants are the ones suffering the most. This director and BCIS and USA has full support for illegal immigrants . May be this guy has a Son who is not finding job because of competition from us ( One South American guy also attended interview for the job for which i am selected and joined last month :p)

it is also possible that he did not want to take the lozzzzzzy project t:D:D after getting details on project in interview !

Not to undermine anything you say, as I suggested earlier it would be a worthwhile effort to conduct a poll on this site from the folks who have been approved. There might be a pattern here, that we might be missing.
Some parameters for the poll might be:

Company size
Company type (S/W, Retail etc.)
Salary
Education
Nature of job with title
age

I am sure this will provide an insight on why some of these cases, were approved before others. This might also serve as a point for litigation....

Why can't USCIS gives out the very same criteria, and we will shut our a** off. There is no such thing. If there is one, they would have posted it. USCIS is crazy and that's the only criteria :( . Only remedy is to sue the heck out of them, then we may get an answer...!!:D

bogus claim

If what he says is true in terms of providing " the ULTIMATE JOB QUALITY" to the country how is he explaining the totally random approval processing? This is a clear indication he does not and cannot and will not know what is going on in the processing???? For that matter who knows??????

Processing of I-485

http://www.hammondlawfirm.com/alerts/10.14.03alert.htm

In an attempt to save the H-1 Premium Processing Program, the USCIS has
begun shifting workers from their I-140 processing and I-485 processing lines
to their H-1 worker lines. As a result employer-petitioners should expect to
see increased processing times for I-140s and I-485 cases. Likewise,
employers should also expect to see increased Requests for Evidence in H-1
filings, primarily because of untrained or inexperienced H-1 line staff

Once the H1-B is gone (second quarter of 04) then the I-485 processing will increase. By that time, I am sure some Asylum and refugee, some TPS, some more Religious workers, or maybe UFOs will get in line first. It looks like the President wants to go to the moon next year! I am sure they will be looking for terrorists there.

BS IMHO

It is all bull friends. Their processing speed had always been the same and so do not get carried away with these news like shifting from here to there and there to somewhere etc.,

Nobody is being carried away, my friend.
We are collecting the justifications for the LAWSUIT. This is accurate information from labor, AILA and lawyers conference.

The shifting of resources is well documented and proved to be DISCRIMINATORY in nature. All is needed is BASIC READING SKILLS, something that all EB I-485 applicants, I presume they have, or DO THEY???

did not mean it that way

cinta,

I did not mean to hurt you. I said BS for the BCIS memo and not to your statement. I said that because I have been seeing this right from my labor and their processing speed sucks no matter what!!!

Pl. do not take this personally

Hi!!!

It is sad to read this.

For some people like us came legally to US, we have to suffer but if we were here illegal or to get married from US citizens for few thousand dollars, we will be welcome every where.,,,,

I was in the last step for PR in Canada and I cancelled the whole process because I thought I would get my GC faster but actaully, that is not going to happend soon....

It is really sad

FASTER ..., Huh ?? Since when ??

Remember, Canadian PR is always faster (and useless as there are no jobs there)

Cheer up, dude. You'll get there.

:D :D :D

HEY

one of my friends got his PR in 3 yrs ....

and why you will go to jail ???? see how many people done that!!!!!

I didn't say I would even consider doing something stupied like that but just giving some examples....

Hey, happy holiday and get drunk :)

I would say be more specific and pragmatic.
Your explanation can be accepted.

i am no USCIS sympathizer but it looks like they are trying to say that they are "erring on the side of caution". it will be difficult to fault them for being extra-cautious.
