USCIS Web site showing 485 approved

Hi All,

Although I'm not to this thread and some people already know me.

Just want to update the forum that USCIS web site says my 485 approved on May 24th, Although I've not received the approval notice.

My 140 got approved on 19th April.

But I''ve some question to this forum , What's now after 485 approved. ?

How to get the passport stamped. ?
And what all they need when I will go Passport Stamping. ?

Please note :

I don't have the driving License from the state where I'm living now and where I Finger Printed; But I will try to change the Driving License.

How long does it take to get the card now a days..?

Below is all my detail

Labor started PD ==> 13th Feb'02.
Labor Approved ==> 1st week of Dec 2004.
140/485 applied ==> 17th Dec. 2004.
140 RFE ==> March 2nd week.
140 RFE Replied ==> April 2nd week.
140 Approved ==> April 19th.
FP ==> May 14th.
Showing 485 Approved ==> 24th May.

Congrats....

I got the same message on same day....... I am also looking for the answer, what needs to be done to get passport stamping.

See my signature. My 140 still showing it is pending.
 
Get infopass appt

Guys,

Congrats for your approvals. First thing take your infopass appt. In order to take infopass appt. you need not to have the approval notices. You will get your approval notices within a week.

But infopass appts always u get 2 weeks from when you are booking your appt. (exception to some cities). Try to do asap.

And if you are lucky enough to have your application fall under new procedure, you'll get a surprize (in the form of actual card) in your mailbox. of course this requires boimatrics taken with/after FP. :)
 
Congratulations guys.... Just curious what is it that they do when you say they will take biometric info along with FP. :confused:

It means "code 3" finger printing: 10 fingers and photograph

I'm curious. Did you receive the magic email or just change of status on line message changed?

Thanks for the response Mickey_32, I have one more question, during my FP for 485 they took FP of all 10 fingers but they didn't took my photograph. but when I went for my EAD renewal they FP my forefinger and photographed me.

So does this all meaning I have done my biometrics.

Yes, I got three e-mails from.

And then immidiately I checked the status online and it is saying case Approved and also called the 800 number and it is also saying approved..


When I went for FP, they only did the FP NO Photograph.....

But when I asked the person who was taking my Finger Printing, She told me you don't need the photograph and I came back.

Next week I called FBI that my status has not been updated in USCIS website about the Finger Printing....She said we send the results to INS on the same day...

And next day I got three e-mails..about approval..

I'm just waiting..Let's see..

I just got the e-mail from my Lawyer that they have received the Approval Notice.
