USCIS update email not working!!

Guys - urgent - USCIS email services are NOT WORKING. I heard this from a few people and checked my email - nothing from CRIS. Checked my account online at USCIS website and both mine and my wife's cases were updated. Mine on 10/25 and wife's on 10/31 with the following messages:

"Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Notice returned as undeliverable.
On October 25, 2007, the post office returned our last written notice on this case as undeliverable. This can have serious effects on the processing of this case. Please call 1-800-375-5283 to update the mailing address so this notice can be re-sent."

Um, actually, this refers to the postal mail. The physical hard copy of the mail that was sent to you and that could not be delivered to you because (presumably) you changed your address and it was not updated in the USCIS database.

the USCIS email service may not be working irrespective of this.

I am aware of the physical address - actually my case was the RFE letter undelivered (from the lawyer's office).
The point I am trying to make is - Dont rely on your emails - check your status online at USCIS website. If only I had checked it last week, I would have known the letters were undelivered since 10/25 and have had taken the action at that time.
Once again, the message is - Dont rely on your emails - check your status online.
 
In my case neither email notification nor online status check worked. Lawyer received RFE for marriage certificate and status about 10 days after RFE was issued. CRIS didnt have updated status, no LUDs, whatsoever about RFE.

Surprisingly though, once the RFE was submitted I got 3 LUDs but no email with 'RFE received blabla'

No further LUDs / status changes since (2 weeks now), needless to say no GC
 
Same thing, no email received while case status changed for my little one 'Documents mailed to applicant'. We recently asked to resend a missing RFE notice.
