I agree with you.

They didn't give us a good service and will not. Even the application fees are increase. Just another excuse.

Spend $175 for EAD and $165 for AP every year, so we have to spend $340 every year per person till I-485 is adjudicated.

Most of the local CIS offices stopped issuing emergency APs, so we have to spend on AP every year rather than waiting for travel plan.

FEES

They found out - actually GAO found it for themselves (GAO-04-309R)that to eliminate backlogs they need to increase fees. This is for 2005 and 06. So far though, they only used the money for Security checks and FP. Our money goes for THIRD FP!! What a waste.
Even if money is available, it cannot be utilized effectively and rolls over to next fiscal year. This was done for 2001 money rolled into 2002.
Any money left from Security checks and FP will be used for third and maybe fourth FP and the rest will be allocated for next year!! Way to go USCIS and Director, appointed to U. of Texas regents by father Bush! Family connections as we say.

What date is this fee going get effective from? Is it as of today?

Thanks,

SN

What a shame

USCIS is damanding more fees from us to consider better serving by removing backlog from 2005 onwards. They can not commit on this too. Our current fees are utilised only for security of this country and in return getting kicked out every day with their damn shit service.

The fee increases are in the form of a proposed regulation. My bet would be that they take effect within 60-120 days.

Probably they shd outsource the USCIS atleast their shd be some results in terms of More Approvals and DECREASED fees (instead of increased fee).

Anyway these moron doesn't do anything professional like giving the approvals as they promise.

Don't take it personal, my 2 cents...

:D

So this is just a game for them. They are telling that from 2005 onwards they want to resolved backlog problems.
And this is 2004 .So looks like these year nothing is going to improve.
And again crucial is 2005 onwards.
that part sucks!!!

Can we believe USCIS will improve the service after 2005 and not come up with another excuse later for backlog???

BIG QUESTIONS????

From the USCIS FACT sheet

.Reducing the backlog – USCIS will achieve the President’s six-month processing time goal

And it starts from Oct 2005 onwards. So there is entire 2 yrs to go yet

a wake up call .....

to all those who are yet to join the email and fax campaign.
Make it known to the representatives, that we sick of this waiting with no returns game.

Whatever happened to the fees I have already paid...they definetly need some hard thrashing....in their rears
