Hi all,

I just managed to add my constructed case number (which I got from my cashed checks) on September 13th. As soon as I added it, it said that the last update was September 13th (obviously).

I checked again today and it said that the last update was as of today September 14th, however there is no new information available, still merely says that it was received September 5th and that we will mail you a decision once the decision is complete etc etc.

Any thoughts on what today's update is? I have yet to receive the actual receipt letter in the mail as well as the finger printing letter.

when they issue a notice, the last update date updates. So the updates you are seeing are either for the receipt notice or (if lucky) the finger print notice. in my case, finger print notice was issued 2-3 days after receipt notice.

Great! Thanks so much, I suppose it is for the receipt notice and like you said if lucky, the fingerprint notice.

you have exact same date of application submission,
receipt date, check cashed date as me. I have received the receipt letter (which issued on sept 12th) but I still have not received the fingerprint letter.
which office (and address) are you going for biometric/fingerprint?
 
Hi Wooying,

It's called the Supermall in Pulaski, this was the same one I went to get my biometrics done for the I-90 GC renewal. I do not have the exact address on me but I know that it is on Pulaski.

Don't worry you will get the FP letter soon, mine came early to my surprise but give it the usual 4 weeks from receipt notice.

I previously missed that the D/O that you are with is actually in Chicago. I'm filing to NY D/O. Guess it makes sense now.
