USCIS new processing dates are posted

dashdurai,

Seems you are among first ones to update us about dates. :) Can we also have it in the thread:

Update on USCIS website

Just to keep things centralized.

the last date was

EB3 - - Aug 22, 2003

EB2 - - Spe 09, 2003

now both of them moved to Oct 01, 2003... may be members in the thread are not interested to post the 140 approval detail.. however we have witnessed some Sep 2003 cases approval msg. and i have found one case on October 28, 2003 have approved on May 11...

this is a kind of positive kick off for 140 guys.. i hope they will wipe out all the pending 140 cases before Oct 01, 2004 ... because they will be having plenty of jobs on H1b (Since caps opens on that day)...

My Dear Amigo Mr.Jharkhandi

I don't support opening new thread for this "USCIS updated new dates" .. since this is active informed to thread people this should be a new thread for every 15 days..

If you open one single thread for this.. people always think that thread is for discussing new date posting.. they does't know the time updated today or not.

if you still want to open another one permenent thread .. please do so.. ( however there is already 50% of the page dumped with static thread which makes users to scroll down a lot to see the new important msg)

Muchos Gracious.

Hi,
I really donno how to react on these dates, I also sawa few approvals for the month of september and was expecting this kind of move in dates, my ND is sep 26th, I did contact my attorny and ask 3 other guys whom I know to contact there, all of us have Sep's ND, all three attorny says that they have not seen much approvals for the month of Sep, they are getting approval for the month of July though, so I donno how should I react to this

Attorny says that these dates means they awill be working on the case filed before this date so he kinda did not buy my argument that if my ND is sep 26th and they are processing OCT 1st that means i must get something in 1 week or so....what to do.............................

Agree dashDurai. First of all - de nada. :)

What I was saying is that just make a copy in the other thread too. That way someone who joins after (say) 2 or 3 months will also be able to see how dates moved! Also that brings out a good point - perhaps we should mention when date was updated with the published date.

Manoj,
I dont mean to dishearten you. But, you might need to wait for the next processing dates to be published or may be 1 more month. Then, you (your attorney) can initiate an inquiry into your case.
Look at the bright side: Your approval is just around the corner. :) Just a lil more time, and you will be there.

Good luck.

Dash,
Good news in the morning buddy, I thought the processing dates update was tonite. Anyways, I don't think these dates truly reflect the dates of the cases they are processing most, this must the latest date they might be processing. I think they take a chunk o files from a certain date to a certain date and distribute them among the adjucators to process them, and then after a couple of weeks pulls another chunk which is what they update as processing dates. So we might well see some cases of august being processed which must be the backlog for the adjucators. Thoughts, comments, shoot it out....

Cheers..

mickey99,

What is your last updated date on I140, I485?

Mine is for I-140 11/03/2003

and for I-485 02/05/2004

i am asking this question .. because both of us having same EAC04019 .. thats the reason .. please reply

Hey Dash,
Find below the last updated dates info from my profile, there was practically no change ever since I put out my profile. I am hoping it might change when they look at my wife's EAD and AP cases, which we applied in march 1st week. So if you
applied anything in similar lines that might be the reason for the change in last update date.
EAC0401952*** Y 10/29/2003 I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER
EAC0401952*** Y 10/29/2003 I485 Application to Register Permanent
Residence or to Adjust Status
Cheers...

Hi all,
Today our friend's I-140 is approved ND is Sep 17,2003.
But our's which is also filed the same day is not approved.

GOD PLS HELP!!!!!

Since we seem to be starting a new thread for this, here's the latest changes from yesterday's update (also posted in the earlier "updates" thread).

05/19/04 (+13 days):

I-765 (AOS) 02/18/04 (+16 days)
I-140 (EB2 excep. ability) 10/01/03 (+22 days)
I-140 (EB2 excep. ability NIW) 08/15/02 (+0 days)
I-140 (EB3 skilled worker) 10/01/03 (+40 days)
I-485 02/15/02 (+0 days)

Unfortunately, as far as EB3 applications go, I'm skeptical that they're this far along. Looking at the 2003 tracker there are still many EB3 people from Jul/Aug/Sep who aren't approved yet (probably >80%). There are also many EB2's left in Sep.

This is ironic since in the past it's sometimes appeared that the processing dates were actually *behind* reality...
