As per the new status online page it shows my wife's 485 is in the "Initial Review" status.

What a crap BS!! IT IS IN THE INITIAL PHASE AFTER SIX YEARS!!!!?

My 485 and my wife's 485 have been filed in August 2003. My case has been approved 2.5 years back and her case is still pending (just after all dependent, she doesn't even work).

PD: 09/2002 EB3 India.
 
I do agree. But wait until Sept 22 (official change over date). They may add some useful info on Sept 22. Some people think that they are going to give trend etc. We don't know.

If they don't add any thing, it would be totally crap. Just "Old wine in new Bottle". Mr Dream seller President promised changes and USCIS web will have new look. He didn't tell about changes would be useful or not? At least he is not lying.

The new page seems to be up and in general, useless.

I wouldn't expect anything different on September 22. Apart from "Initial review", other case status things that show up are "RFE" "Testing and Interview" "Decision" "post decision activity" and "document production or oath ceremony."

I have a feeling thet it will say initial review until the date it says decision. Big help that's going to be.
 
These stages are based on the messages I think. My case is EB3 India 2005 and I am on "Document production or Oath Ceremony" stage.

"On September 15, 2007 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

Actually this message was not updated since I got this Finger Prints notice in 2007. Since then I have applied EAD's and AP's. So we should not rely on these New stages (Icons).

And my dependents are on Initial Review Stage.
 
Looks like they are pulling the status info from the same database, so message is logically changed based the same database data, so no new thing/info is apparently expected,
and yes I agree that if they keep pulling from same database message withouting changing to the more grannular level then it is old wine in new bottle.
 
I have "Initial review icon" after 5 years (I-130 F3)!!!!!:confused:
Can`t be wright!!!! New site - useless!
