I have applied this year for H1 thru a consultant and waiting for the results.Till now I have not received any receipt # and my hopes ar fading day by day.I wanted to know by when USCIS wil be thru with issuing all the randomly selected cases and when they'll start informing rejected cases.If anyone has any idea then plz post here.Finding myself helpless as I am not geting any information from here and there??

Hi I applied for H1B regular cap (non-premium processing) on April 2. Today got an email from my lawyer stating that the checks have been cashed and later another email with the receipt notice from VSC. This notice is dated April 24th. I guess I was the lucky one. My lawyer has applied for many H1B's but mine was the first one that got selected in the lottery.
Guys please dont give up hope just yet...u still stand a chance. Receipts have just started coming in.

Hi, I applied for H1B regural cap for this year like you. I was also nervous and had my fingers crossed till today, n i got email from my consultant stating that my case has been accepted with the USCIS and my receipt number was provided to me. Hope the USCIS has started giving out the results. So be patient for some more time. I might a week or so for entire results to be out and judge the status of your application.
