Dear Friends,
I'd appreciate your input on this problem.
Submitted, in August 2006, THE ADJUST OF STATUS Application Forms: I-485/ I-864EZ/ I-130/ I-131/ I-693/ I-765/ G-325 for PARENTS currently in USA.
Issue/Query from USCIS:
Received a (Notice of Action) letter from USCIS requesting 'secondary evidence' on I-130 for Birth Certificates of Petitioner as well as Beneficiary (Mother), because 'delayed registration' was done for both these Birth Certificates. The USCIS letter also states 'secondary evidence' should have been created prior to the 14th birthday of the person. It suggests some acceptable forms of evidence e.g Baptismal cert, school records, affidavits, etc. These suggested documents are impossible to gather here.
FACTS:
For the Petitioner (that is me- birth 9/26/ 1970) the birth registration was done on 05/15/ 1995 and for the Beneficiary (My mother- birth 11/17/ 1944) on 12/16/ 2005 .
Proposed solution:
I'm thinking of sending them a copy of old HOROSCOPE - containing the date and time of birth alongwith names of both parents, which is in native (foreign) language. It has got to be translated into English. Would that work?
I'd appreciate your input on this problem.
