Dear Member,
I had a random thought regarding the filings in July. I have been reading that there could be as m any as 500,000 applicants. So I was thinking, that not all applicants will apply for all 485, EAD/AP. Some may chose not to apply for EAD/AP. So even if assuming as a rough estimate 300,000 applicants are there for 485, EAD/AP and with current fee schedule total fees comes to about 700 dollars for all. This would mean 210 million dollars to USCIS coffers and people renewing EAD every year under new fee schedule would come about to the be the same. Wouldnt this mean that the USCIS should set up better infrastructure with these fees in order to process all these apps faster?
