Hi all i was hoping someone has a similar experience and could help us solve a little problem we now seem to have.

My wife got approved for her residence after our two year anniversary. When she first obtained her green card it was a conditional green card, so we filed a i-90 with a copy of our marriage certificate and the stamp on her passport and uscis sent her a 10 year green card.

now they have sent us a reminder letter that we have to file an i-751 to remove conditions on residence. Obviously this is an error on their part, but those anybody know the best way to clear this up with uscis. Thanks for any information.

There's an error on your part:

I-90 application: Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card

Purpose of Form :
Use this form to replace a "Green Card." Please note: You should not submit this form if you are a conditional resident and your status is expiring. You must use Form I-751 if you became a conditional resident through marriage to a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. You must use Form I-829 if you became a conditional resident based on a financial investment in a U.S. business.

They filed i-90 not to remove conditions but to replace green card that was issued with wrong expiration date.

Yes the I-90 was sent in to correct the initial error uscis did by sending us a conditional green card. I will call customer service today and see what the best way to rectify this in their database You would think after the I-90 somebody would have bother to change whatever it is they needed to change in their system. oh uscis you strike again!
