USCIS case status website

Hi people,

I have a question about how prompt CIS is when updating their case status website? The reason I asked is because I sent my medical and 325A on
Auguest 27, and stil no update on my case status or email. I only used first-class mail, no overnight or anything. Should I be worried about them not receiving it? Or are they just slow in updating the website.

I sent the RFE to the address that was listed on the upper right corner of the yellow notice.

I am in the same situation. sometimes you will get a letter of action without your case status updated on-line.
 
Hi Besu,

In your signature, you wrote RFI rec'ved by CIS on 09/02. Did you used the overnight service and got a confirmation? How did you know CIS rec'ved it? From the case status website or did you call them?

Also, seems like we have the same timeline, is your Bio scheduled for 09/06, because mine is scheduled for 09/14..

Usually they will update your profile when they receive your RFI and send you confirmation emails as well. Since you sent as first-class mail ( without certifield mail receipt???), I would say maybe give them another couple of days since there is a holiday in betwn.

Ilikegreen, I can tel you this only because I work for USPS. If you sent it first-class mail..no overnight etc...It can take upto 10 days for your mail to get there.
Once it reaches nebrasaka, the first-class mail are separated from overnight and sent to different "check" centers..they check for Anthrax using a system called BDS(Biohazard detection system).....Since overnight are "emergency", they are processed the same day...but first-class mail depending on how big your package is can take up to 2 days...

Once it gets to USCIS, they also pass through another chemical detection system to check for any other agents. How i found that out? I sent my RTD application on April 10th last year and they got it on April 25th. I sent it first-class only..and found out when i researched as to what happened to my mail....So do not worry..
