USCIS Case Status online accurate?!

Hi,

Following my interview I got a request for additional evidence..

I sent that in a week ago, and I am waiting for a letter about oath.... is it possible I would get a reply or an oath letter without the online status changing from "Testing and Interview" to "Decision"?!

Or is there nothing to talk about and as long as online status hasn't changed they haven't made a decision?!

Unlike Green Card, Citizenship decision is not made / online status is not updated until the date of your Oath Ceremony.

That's what they tell you when you call the 800 number, and that's what I experienced myself after having completed the process..

Alexginga is right. This has been my experience as well. What matters is what documentation you have in your hand. If you sent it in a week ago, allow more time, and follow up later if you do not hear back from them. Checking on-line will not assist, and may increase your level of frustration. You are almost there
